Who can apply to join the scheme🚺

LIC Scheme: The country’s largest insurance company, Life Insurance Corporation of India, has launched the ‘LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana’. This scheme of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has been launched especially for women, so that they can be empowered financially. Through this scheme, women will get an opportunity to earn income every month, which will make their life easier.

You will get 7000 rupees every month🚺

Under the LIC Bima Sakhi Yojana, the selected women agents will be eligible to receive a monthly stipend during the first 3 years based on their performance. Under the scheme, the selected women will be given a fixed stipend of Rs 7000 per month in the first year. After this, women will be given Rs 6000 every month in the second year. However, there are some conditions to get Rs 6000. If at least 65 percent of the total policies started by a woman in the first year continue every month in the second year, then she will be given Rs 6000 every month.

Women will be given training to become agents🚺

The objective of LIC Bima Sakhi is to recruit and train women as LIC agents, which will help them earn income. Along with this, awareness about insurance will be spread in the surrounding villages and areas through these women. Under the scheme, special training and financial incentives along with promotional support are provided to prepare Bima Sakhis as a successful agent.

Who can apply to join the scheme🚺

The age of women applying under the scheme should be between 18 years to 70 years. The applicant woman should have passed at least 10th class. Women related to existing LIC agents or employees are not eligible for this scheme. Relatives include spouse, children (biological, adoptive, step, dependent or not), parents, siblings and in-laws. Retired employees and former agents are not eligible for reappointment under this scheme. Existing agents cannot apply for this recruitment.
